Role Modelling

 

In line with the mandate of the LIPERD Directorate of the University, we have began  to reach out to secondary schools in our Role Modelling exercise within our host communities starting with the Holy Apostolic High school at Ikole. In a bid to catch this ones young, reorienting their values in order to make better citizens of them it became expediant to carry out this exersice. In this our maiden visit we had two facilitators having collaborated with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Ekitit State command, drugs and its adverse effects was elucidated.  While Engr. Tochukwu Onuorah of the Faculty of Engineering took the topic "Who is an Engineer?". The Director of Liperd, Prof A .A. Aganga concluded the outreach by giving a practical example with her life as a student in Saint Monica's Anglican college Ondo in the 60's. Below is the picture story
